The Impunity
This has happened before.
Ayșenur Ezgi Eygi is not the first international human rights observer killed by Israeli forces in occupied Palestinian territory. She is the one of the latest in a documented, unchecked pattern of impunity where Israel kills without accountability. This is a pattern the United States has been complicit in perpetuating.

U.S. Sanctioned Accountability“In prosecuting crimes committed by Russia, Hamas and other wrongdoers, the Department has appropriately demonstrated its commitment to upholding the rule of law in the midst of ongoing geopolitical conflicts,” the letter says. “But against the backdrop of numerous potential violations of U.S. law by individuals and entities affiliated with Israel, the Department’s silence and apparent inaction is a stark omission.”
The Timeline
Documenting the killings of Americans. Highlighting inaction by our government.
Ayșenur’s killing was not an isolated event. It was part of a pattern. A pattern of killings without accountability, lack of U.S.-led investigations into the killings of Americans by Israel, and a government that has failed to bring justice.
The pattern is clear.
This has now become a consistent pattern in which Americans are being killed in the West Bank by settlers or the IDF without justice or accountability, despite promises from U.S. officials.
